   rapidly.
- Modified Wizards to show Device Model Number, Firmware version, and Wizard software version.
- Modified TC Central to search only USB serial ports, reducing connect time at startup.
- Added code to detect insertion and removal of USB devices, so that the main program will
report "No Connection" when the receiver USB plug is removed, and automatically re-
connect when the same plug is re-inserted.
- Updated splash screen and about box to read "Omega Wireless Products" instead of UWTC.

- Bug Fixes...................................................................
- Fixed bug that would not allow a saved data file to be loaded.
- Fixed bug that randomly caused the program to "freeze" or lock up on exit.
- Fixed bug that caused TC Central to use 50% PC resources.

04/27/09 Release Notes for Version 1.04.9.427 maintenance release
- Bug Fixes...................................................................
- Fixed bug that caused chart time labels to be incorrect when charting in
"Continuous" mode, and the maximum number of data points have been plotted.
- Fixed bug that caused incorrect update of alarm settings when selecting
units in Deg C. (This was reported by a customer)
- Removed the radio buttons on the channel configuration dialog box and
replaced with a label that shows the currently selected "Temperature"
units. Relative humidity and future products with pressure mV, etc. are
not affected by this change. Temperature units are now selected from the
main "Channels" tabs only. This reduces confusion and prevents displaying
readings in one temperature unit while having to choose between units
   when configuring alarm and/or offsets.
- Fixed bug that caused incorrect readings when an offset value is specified,
and readings are being viewed in Deg C.

05/12/09 Release Notes for Version 1.04.9.512 maintenance release
- Bug Fixes...................................................................
- Expanded the UpDown Control for Emissivity in the End Device Configuration
Wizard, to allow for user Windows System settings with "Large Fonts".

06/11/09 Release Notes for Version 1.05.9.611 new version release

- New Features................................................................
- Added support for Wireless IR Gun, which displays process temperature but
not Ambient. Also displays "OMEGASCOPE" in the empty space below the
process temperature window, to give the box a less "vacant" appearance.

- Added "Save Channel Configuration" and "Open Channel Configuration" so that
an existing installation and setup of multiple channels can be saved, and
reloaded when upgrading to a new version of TCC. This also allows the user
to create and save multiple configurations for different applications.

- Added support for MWTC-REC5 in the End Device Configuration Wizard.

- Added Activate Master Remote Alarm for REC2/4/6. This allows the user to
select which channel(s) will activate the alarm output on receivers with
analog output. This feature only works when the receiver is plugged into
a USB port, and TCC is running. If the USB cable is unplugged, only the
channel assigned to the receiver's analog output will operate. To that
extent, if the alarm output is activated because of a channel other than
the assigned analog channel, the alarm will clear upon removal of the
   USB cable.

- Bug Fixes...................................................................
- Fixed bug in the "Line Options" dialog box listbox where the selected line
was not the same line as the one selected in the listbox.

08/21/09 Release Notes for Version 1.05.9.821 maintenance release
- Bug Fixes...................................................................
- Fixed bug that caused all zeros for addresses in channel boxes, and a
crash when configuring a channel. The default.bsf file was from an older
version, which caused channel data to become corrupted.

08/31/09 Release Notes for Version 1.05.9.831 maintenance release
- Bug Fixes...................................................................
- Disabled temperature conversion that takes place when clicking on the C or F
button (for TCType O only), but allow display units to change. Also
disabled temperature conversion in data log for TCType "O". Note: Charting
changes the vertical axis when the C/F button is pressed, so the value for
IR Guns stays as transmitted C/F, regardless of the C/F button setting. In
other words, the C/F button settings must match the C/F settings on the IR
Gun. When data logging, all channels must be set to the same units as the
IR Gun, even if monitoring thermocouples concurently.

09/01/09 Release Notes for Version 1.05.9.901 maintenance release
- Bug Fixes...................................................................
- Added special configuration dialog box for Type O transmitters, so that the
user can notify TC Central whether the IR Gun is transmitting in Deg C or
Deg F. This fixes all the known problems reported since version 1.5.9.611.
Changes made for version 1.5.9.831 have been un-done, since they caused
problems with charting and data logging. This release reports temperatures
correctly (if the user sets it up properly), and has no side effects with
   charting or data logging.

10/14/09 Release Notes for Version 1.06.9.1014 new version release

- Added support for MWTC-REC6 - 868/915MHz Receiver with Analog Output. This
includes scaling of the analog output, choice of process units,
and RF channel selection. Scaling can also be used for field calibration
   by the customer.

- Combined receiver configuration with TC Central, so that the receiver
can be configured while TC Central is running. It is now a menu option,
and the UWTC Receiver Configuration Wizard no longer exists.

- Re-coded receiver connection for faster, more reliable connection.

- Added the "Find Devices" menu option in the "Tools" menu, which
allows the user to view all transmitters being received, along with
their address. This is useful if you don't remember or know the
address of a particular end device.

11/25/09 Release Notes for Version 1.06.9.1125 maintenance release
- Bug Fixes...................................................................
- Fixed bug in end device configuration wizard that prevented settings for
UWTC-2-NEMA and UWRTD-2-NEMA TC type and RTD type from being sent to
   the end device.

12/21/09 Release Notes for Version 1.07.9.1221 new version release

- New Features................................................................
- Modified reciever configuration code to allow user to change RF Network
settings for RF Channel, PAN ID, and Receiver (Destination) Address. This
change is for UWTC-REC1/REC2/REC2D/REC4, UWRPT-915/868, and all UWTC 2.4GHz
end devices. The MWTC receivers and end devices remain unchanges. This
change was required to allow the use of multiple UWRPT repeaters, as
   requested by a potential customer.

- Added an additional 4 Channel tabs to accomodate a total of 96 end devices.
This changes was required to allow the use of multiple UWRPT repeaters,
with two sets of 40 end devices as requested by a potential customer.

- Added support for UWRPT-915/868 - Universal Wireless Repeater. The UWRPT
can be configured as an end device with the End Device Configuration
Wizard or with "Configure Receiver" from the "Tools" menu in TCC. With the
USB cable attached and TCC running, the UWRPT can be used as a mid-point
2.4GHz receiver to monitor end devices, while simultaneously
   re-transmitting at 915/868MHz.

- Modified receiver configuration code to allow user to adjust an offset
for TC-K analog output for the UWTC-REC2(D)-TC/REC4-TC. This change was
in response to multiple customer requests.

- Added support for UWTC-REC2/REC2D-NEMA. The UWTC-REC1-NEMA is not supported
because the hardware and firmware are unknown at the time of this release.
This will be treated as a bug fix in the next maintenance release, if the
next new version release is delayed.

- Added support for UWXL-24-TC and UWXL-24-RTD.

- Bug Fixes...................................................................
- Fixed bug that caused an exception to be thrown when upgrading TC Central
   from versions older than 1.6.

- Removed "Thousands Separator" (comma), from the scaling numeric up-down
controls in the UWTC-REC2/REC4 receiver configuration dialog boxes.

- Renamed the title bar of the UWTC-REC4 dialog box from "dlgRec4" to
   "Configure Receiver".

- Fixed bug that caused "Thermocouple Type K Output is Not Scalable"
to remain visible when unplugging a UWTC-REC2/REC4-TC receiver while
TCC is still running and plugging in a UWTC-REC2/REC4-V1/V2/MA, and then
choosing "Configure Receiver" again. This bug does not appear if TCC is
shut down and restarted with the second receiver. It is highly unlikely
that a customer would find themselves in this situation, but it is an
annoyance (and added labor expense) for factory production personnel to
have to restart TCC when configuring and testing receivers.

- Modified placement of various panels in the "Scaling" group box of the
UWTC-REC2/REC4 configuration dialog boxes in an attempt to fix a
non-reproducalbe bug that caused some of the labels and controls to be
partially hidden. This bug was reported by only one user running
Windows XP, and could not be re-produced at Omega South.

12/22/09 Release Notes for Version 1.07.9.1222 maintenance release

- New Features................................................................

- Added support for the UWPH, which includes field probe calibration.

- Added support for the UWTC-REC6.

- Removed 4 tabs from Channels view to reduce the number of channels from
96 to 48. CCF file size is still the same and array size is still 96.
Only the first 48 elements of the arrays are used.

- Added support for correct battery status when using a 1.5V/1.8V battery.
If battery voltage is below 1.90V, it is assumed that a 1.5/1.8 battery is
in use, and 1.25V to 1.5V is scaled to 0 to 100%. If battery voltage is
   1.90V or above, 2.50V to 3.3V is scaled to 0 to 100%.

- Bug Fixes...................................................................
- Fixed bug that caused REC2/REC4 to fail response to TCOS command when the
users PC has a regional setting for a culture that doesn't support the use
of a period for a decimal poiont.

- Fixed bug that caused the alarm setpoints and offset calibration in the
configure channel dialog box to remain in degrees F, even when the "C"
button is selected in the channel box.

- Fixed bug that caused offset values in the configure channel dialog box
to not have the same number of decimal places as displayed in the channel
   box for process value.

- Removed "Transmission in C" checkbox from receiver configuration dialog
   box for all UWTC-RECx receivers.

- Fixed bug that caused the data log to log the value of the device in
the column to the left to be recorded instead of 0, if the device is
either lost or powered off during a logging session.

- Fixed bug that caused the MWTC-REC6 to not change channels after
   configuration.

05/13/10 Release Notes for Version 1.09.10.0513 maintenance release

- Bug Fixes...................................................................
- Fixed bug that caused the Channel Timeout to be set to 60 when the user
attempts to set it to any value above 120. This was bug was present since
the original version 1.0 release of 05/18/07 where values up to 120 were
allowed (by program design), but reset to 60 if the value exceeded 120.
The new limits are now 6 seconds minimum and 3600 seconds maximum.

06/14/10 Release Notes for Version 1.09.10.0614 maintenance release

- Bug Fixes...................................................................
- Fixed bug in the end device configuration wizard that caused the error
message "End device failed to respond to TCTYPE" for UWRTD-2-NEMA units
with firmware 091216 and older only. The bug was related to a change made
in Version 1.08.10.0120, where older firmware reported "UWTRD2NEMA" and TCC
expected "UWRTD2NEMA". That and newer releases of TCC did not recognize
"UWTRD2NEMA" as a valid end device, so hence the error message. Now both
unit ID's are recognized as UWRTD-2-NEMA.

- Changed error message for unrecognized end devices to a more meaningful,
"Unrecognized End Device. Please check omega.com for a newer version of TC
   Central."

07/13/10 Release Notes for Version 1.10.10.0713 new version release
- New Features................................................................

- Added support for the UWXL-24-PH, UWXL-24-IR-1, UWXL-24-RH-RPI, and
UWXL-24-PC. The UWXL-24-FQ will be added later when the UWFL is completed.

08/04/10 Release Notes for Version 1.10.10.0804 maintenance release

- Bug Fixes...................................................................
- This release adds support for the UWTC-RPT-868, but is treated as a bug
fix in a maintenance release rather than a new feature in a new version
release, since the revision history of 12/21/09 alludes to support being
added for the "UWRPT-915/868". One notable difference in the Configuration
Wizard for the 868 model is "RF Channel" is grayed out and set to 1, and
"Receiver Address" is grayed out and set to 0. This is because the 868MHz
modules do not support more than one channel, and only the destination
   address can be changed.

09/01/10 Release Notes for Version 1.10.10.0901 maintenance release

- Bug Fixes...................................................................
- Fixed bug that caused an exception to be thrown when starting a data logging
session. This exception only occured when one or more channel boxes have
  an empty description fields.

11/08/10 Release Notes for Version 1.10.10.1108 maintenance release

- Bug Fixes...................................................................
- Although not included in release notes for version 1.10.10.901, a bug in the
checksum function was fixed that caused the function to always return the
correct checksum, even if the received packet was corrupted. This fix
caused all MWTC packets to be reported as being corrupt and having a bad
checksum. The cause was determined to be a two-year old bug in the MWTC
receiver firmware, which included the packet length in the checksum
calculation, which should not be done. The firmware bug cannot be fixed
because of its age and the number of units sold. In order to ensure a valid
checksum, this release of TCC takes into account the receiver type in the
checksum function, and adds the packet length to the checksum calculation on
  packets received from MWTC receivers.
